Frequently Asked Questions

Top Rope climbing involves ascending a rock face or climbing wall that is completed within one rope length (between 40-100 ft in height). Top Rope systems involve having a rope above you at all times, so you never fall more than a few feet.

All of our guides are properly trained and certified through the American Mountain Guide Association for the terrain that they guide in. We also maintain wilderness first responder certifications and carry satellite communicators in case of an emergency in the backcountry. Our guides adhere to stringent safety protocols and use top-notch climbing equipment, ensuring your safety throughout your experience.

Our guides are skilled at interpreting the weather in our area. More often than not, forecasted rain is a late afternoon sprinkle that doesn’t affect the day at all. If the weather does interfere with the climb, we can reschedule you for a future date.

Breathable, moisture-wicking clothing is always recommended. Bring layers appropriate for the changing weather throughout the day, closed toed shoes for the hike in, sun protection, bug spray, a small backpack, a water bottle, & some snacks.

Your guide will consult with you on climbing gear and provide you with anything that you need but don’t have already.

You can cancel your trip with “no questions asked” 48 hours before your trip is scheduled to go out. Within 48 hrs, we can reschedule (up to a year from your original booking) to a date that works best for you! Reach out [email protected] with any trip cancellation questions.
